National Tropical Botanical Gardens' Kahanu Garden in Hāna and the Breadfruit Institute have been working to conserve the largest breadfruit collection on the planet. NTBG will have a limited number of Tahitian breadfruit trees for sale along with staff to answer questions about breadfruit ecology, cultivation, ethnobotany, research, and varieties.

On November 18 from 9 am to 11 am, MALP president Allison Wright will lead a FREE air layering class at Maui Nui Botanical Gardens to teach home gardeners a great way to propagate ʻulu trees. This in person class has limited spaces, and participants will get hands-on practice with ʻulu stems and a kit to take home so they can start their own trees. REGISTER HERE
